The Long Beach Human Trafficking Task Force (LBHTTF) is a multidisciplinary community-based collaboration of stakeholders who partner to combat human trafficking through prevention, protection and prosecution. We are committed to ending human slavery. Human slavery takes on the form of sexual slavery, labor slavery, and/or abusive labor practices of humans. Our team practices the four P's of human trafficking; namely, Prevention, Protection, Prosecution, and Partnerships.
The Long Beach Human Trafficking Task Force is guided by the Core Team. You can read more about the core team here. But the real Who of the LBHTTF is the membership.
The LBHTTF has a general meeting on the second Wednesday of every month. These meetings are open to all who want to learn or contribute to ending modern day human slavery. We start our meetings at 11:30 am PST or PDT and finish by 1:00pm.
The LBHTF organizes and promotes awareness and enforcement events to end human slavery and human trafficking. Our annual YESS Event is a large outreach to empower youth and prevent human trafficking.
The monthly LBHTTF general meetings have been held via the Zoom link below since the onset of the Covid-19 Pandemic. When safe, we hope to begin having in-person meetings at the Salvation Army at 3000 Long Beach Blvd in Long Beach. The meetings are open to anyone who has an interest in helping to stop modern day human slavery. These meetings are also available via Zoom meetings.
