The Long Beach Human Trafficking Task Force (LBHTTF) is a multidisciplinary community-based collaboration
of stakeholders who partner to combat human trafficking through prevention, protection and prosecution. We are committed to
ending human slavery. Human slavery takes on the form of sexual slavery, labor slavery, and/or abusive labor practices of
humans.
The core team consists of organization officers and commitee chairs.
The officers of the Long Beach Human Trafficking Task Force are:

The chair of the Fund Development committee is Shirley Komoto.
The purpose of the Fund Development, Partnerships, Sponsorships committee is to secure funding and partnership support in order to sustain LBHTTF's work, to to expand collaborative relationships that strengthen anti-trafficking initiatives, and to align fundraising and partnership efforts with mission, strategy, and community impact.
The chair of the Training, Education and Awareness committee is Francesca Douglass Franco.
The purpose of the Training, Education and Awareness committee is to deliver accessible, evidence-based, trauma-informed education on trafficking prevention and response, to increase community awareness and readiness to recognize and address trafficking and to strengthen public understanding through outreach, campaigns, and training programs.
The co-chairs of the Survivor Protection & Support committee are Mariah Sewe and April Casillas.
The purpose of the Survivor Protection & Support committee is to strengthen survivor protection, crisis response, and aftercare coordination, to improve pathways to safety, healing, stability, and long-term support, and to elevate survivor needs through compassionate, trauma-informed collaboration.
The co-chairs of the Task for Membership committee are Mary Anne Silvestri and Teresa Gomez.
The purpose of the Task Force Membership committee is to build and retain a diverse, engaged membership aligned with LBHTTF's mission, to strengthen participation and belonging across the Task Force community, and to support membership structures that meet operational and strategic needs.
